save -- checkpoint your character mid-session The world autosaves on a timer (~90 seconds) and when you logout or quit. If you just finished something important and do not want to wait, type save to write your body, inventory, and gear to disk immediately. How you play 1. save 2. Wait for the cooldown (~45 seconds) before saving again 3. Keep playing -- you are skipped on the next autosave rewrite until you change again Each successful save also archives a private recovery copy on the server (last ten per character). If a deploy corrupts your row, staff can restore it with ``gm restore checkpoint <your name>``. What save does NOT cover - Items you dropped on the floor (still follow normal autosave) - Shops, realms, clock, and other world meta (staff/system saves) - fightlog save -- that is a different command (help fightlog) logout and quit still save the whole world cooperatively. save is only your character row.
