account -- one login, many characters
Every connection starts at the account screen. Register with new, then pick a character from your roster, create a new body, or link an existing unlinked character you already play.
How you play
1. Connect -- type your account name and password (or new to register).
2. Pick a character, choose Create new character, or Link existing character.
Mid-chargen bodies show (resume chargen) on the roster until you finish or quit.
3. Create: first name, surname when needed, then a character password.
4. Link: prove the existing body's character password once to attach it.
5. account review name, roster, account points, totals

An account owns your characters, remembers bugs you helped squash and features you suggested, and can choose whether OOC chat shows your account name or your character name. **Account points** are your resolved bug credits plus shipped ideas plus **Gifted** points from other players (the bug and suggest leaderboards still track reports only). Leftover points can be spent at character create when staff turn a price on (help chargen) -- earned totals stay on the sheet. The login roster and account command list each body with its Origin and Path (and Shifter Aspect when set) so you can tell alts apart at a glance. Account names never appear in rooms, who, or combat for ordinary players -- only on OOC (per your oocname pref) and on bug/suggest reports for staff. Staff with config seeaccounts on in GM form also see Character(Account) on who, say, tell, and OOC.
Staff accounts (GM / head GM) also see immersion cast as a second roster on the character menu and can gm off <cast> to switch into them. Type the cast name (Ash, not roster 1) -- staff-login fixtures stay posted as town NPCs until you occupy them, then return to fixture when you log out. Players never see that Cast list.
