There are only two answers: unleash your own into it (a Clash, help clash), or read it and guard. There is no separate command. If you have guard (help tactics) queued when a foe unleashes AT you, that guard becomes a Perfect Guard attempt -- a gamble to weave past the whole thing. Whether you pull it off is a contest: - your overall strength (all your stats together, not just one), - a lean toward the defensive primaries (RES grit / FIN reflexes) -- a tough, quick fighter reads the surge better, and - how much Momentum you've banked (a fighter who's winning reads it better). An evenly matched defender is near a coin flip; it is deliberately a gamble. - Win: the ultimate is turned aside completely -- no damage -- you are refunded Momentum, and your foe is left staggered, having spent their entire ultimate on nothing. Your next swing lands on an open target. - Lose: the guard buckles and you eat the ultimate in full. You still have to commit the guard before you know they will unleash, so it is a read, not a reflex. High risk, high reward. See also: help unleash | help clash | help tactics
