hospital -- Lebanon Hospital injury and recovery
Lebanon Hospital (lobby north of Highway West 5) treats the wounded.
Stairs climb to Floor 2 (wards A1-A6) and Floor 3 (B1-B6). Street fever-dreams are coma; once you are on a cot you are awake -- visitors and talk are welcome while staff drip care. Hurt in Lawrence or Grants Pass and you go to that town's lobby, not Lebanon -- walk clinic from the local streets.
How you play
1. hospitalize <name> mercy: badly hurt ally to a ward; collapsed patients use the same haul escort as aides
2. haul <name> escort a street-collapsed patient to the hospital
carry <name> lift a collapsed Echo without clinic (echo drag; help carry)
3. haul again / admitpatient settle them on a cot once you are inside
4. admit / checkin at Lebanon Hospital lobby or Walk-in Clinic when you are hurt -- staff guide you to a free ward cot, IV, and tray
5. walk hospital visit the lobby; upstairs for ward rooms
6. aid <name> wake a [KO] ally in the room (First Aid; they stand hurt -- help aid)
7. giveup while [KO]: shorten the wait for aides (short finish window remains -- help giveup)
You and the patient must not be evil for hospital deliveries. Throwaway hostiles die or dust -- not hospital patients. Clinic care does not move World Tide (help balance). Hospital aides use the same haul/admit helpers.
Critical hunger or thirst can collapse anyone who uses mortal food and water -- players, Echoes, and townsfolk (not Vampires or Celestial Mantles). Cosmic Aspect Elementals never use the hospital -- a drop reforms them on their Reach (help elemental). Ward care clears hunger
(tray), thirst (IV), weariness, fear, and hygiene while soft mood eases.
Exsanguination victims (vampire bites, willing over-feeds) get an O-negative transfusion on admit when their blood pool is low -- the ward drip refills it before discharge. Between visits your blood also recovers slowly on its own -- faster when you are fed, hydrated, and resting or asleep.
Company on the ward slows the boredom that builds once you are ready to leave. Echoes are never deleted or looted -- the hospital is their injury path.
Newbie protection (help protection) sends protected Humans to the same ward cots with an IV after a lethal finish -- the scene cuts straight to the hospital.
Main Street still has a separate Walk-in Clinic pad (also accepts bare admit when hurt). Recovery wards are upstairs at Lebanon Hospital.
