Get Hellhound-Seeing Glasses (rare supernatural artifact) 2. equip glasses (or equip hellhound glasses) 3. look / attack the pack when a Deal is past due (wield a lethal artifact) Ordinary eyeglasses scorched by holy fire. Wear them (equip, head slot) and living eyes can see Deal hellhounds that are otherwise invisible. Celestials see the pack without the glasses. Without pierce sight, ordinary weapons are useless and even a kill tool is nearly so (~5% blind connect; misses say the hound is invisible). Combat stays short tagged lines while you cannot see them -- not full cinematic prose. Pour goofer here to buy time (help traps).
