follow -- tag along with another character follow <name> start following someone in your room; every time they move, you're pulled the same direction right after them follow (no name) stop following unfollow same as bare 'follow' -- warns first when you are grouped; use group leave confirm or unfollow confirm to split off How you play 1. follow 2. Follow See also for the hub that owns this loop A live-session convenience that also works for Echo / idlemode companions -- Cadence hunt partners (e.g. Sam trailing Dean) use the same follow bond. Groups move as one unit: only the leader may walk; followers are pulled along, and the party disbands if anyone is left in another room (help group). Five left-behind splits with the same person puts you both on a one-day Cadence solo toward each other. Beckon (help beckon) puts Echo / idlemode close ties on companion duty: they assist in fights and co-eat until a critical need peels them off -- grouped mates stick together for shared needs instead of running off solo. Pack-bonded Echoes with high Obligation (help needs) resist that peel and meet survival needs as a convoy when they can. Boarding a vehicle (help vehicles) auto-boards same-room followers as passengers. Ordinary movement pulls followers along (player cardinals, Cadence NPC/Echo walks, drag, arrest). Chains work: if C follows B and B follows A, moving A pulls both B and C. Type group to see the party roster; look tags mates with (Group).
