crowd-combat -- fighting multiple opponents at once
Packed fights get kit-specific crowd tools on top of swarm pressure and protect (help combat | help protect).
How you play
1. attack one focus; let nest hostiles pile on (first pack fight may nudge help crowd-combat when combat hints are on).
2. Two-hand or dual-wield loadouts pick up cleave / flank cuts automatically.
3. Casters: elemental or Force Projection auto-swings arc when several foes share the room.
4. Unarmed Martial Artists: throw <foe> to bowl them into a second hostile.
Martial throw
Usage: throw <foe> bowl your focus into another hostile here (Martial Arts)
throw <foe> <direction> hurl them into someone in the next room
throw <direction> same, using your current fight focus
Requires Martial Arts training to bowl one foe into another. If only a peaceful townsfolk is in the way, anyone can throw -- but deputies may notice (help collateral).
Two-handed cleave
A connecting two-handed primary swing can cleave a second hostile in the same room for reduced damage ([CLEAVE]). No extra command -- equip a two-handed weapon and swing.
Dual-wield flank cut
When someone else is on your back, your offhand beat may slip a cut to that flanker instead of your focus ([OFFHAND] still rolls separately). Train Dual Wield for a stronger offhand (help dual_wield).
Magic AoE
Connecting magic swings can arc to one or two other hostiles in the room for reduced damage ([ARC]). No extra command -- train a damage magic Discipline (Force Projection, Elemental, …) or fire a magic Path signature into a pack.
