Hoods, masks, stolen faces, whohide, and other veils feed Unknown Count -- no short-desc rows. A hooded cast member stays Unknown, not named. Badges and ranks Rank prefixes on who (Veteran, Prince, …) are off by default -- staff may flip gm titles on gamewide. Monster / Celestial dual-form Paths show Mortal while in guise until true form (or Frenzy). God conceal forces Mortal; a revealed God badges God and stays named without introduce. Humans are always mortals. A Background (Detective, Hunter, …) is mortal + trade -- the badge names the trade, not "Mortal Detective." blend hides your trade on who; unblend shows it again. Plain path mortal has nothing extra to hide. score and gm stat always show your real Background; blend only changes the who badge. look stays truthful -- IC kit tells remain. Second sight in a room may still spot (Angel) / (Demon) on a guised Mantle -- a supernatural tell, not the who badge. Echoes and privacy whofull -- also list Echoes (logged-out / idle bodies still in the world), including hunters on the America foot grid (help whofull). whohide -- omit yourself from other players' lists; GMs still see you tagged (hidden) (help whohide). blend / unblend -- Humans hide or restore trade badge on who (help blend).
