Usage: command How you play 1. help ooc — read this page 2. ooc when your sheet and room gates match the blurb below 3. ooc -- out-of-character chat (global channel) ooc -- out-of-character chat (global channel) Talk to every connected player, regardless of room. Your body stays where it is; Echoes offline do not hear OOC. ooc <message> send a line to everyone online ooc replay the last 20 OOC lines Lines look like ((OOC)) [Name]: text so they never rely on color alone. Sighted color (when ANSI is on) paints the whole line bright aqua so it cannot hide in room descriptions. config channel ooc <role> paints a different whole-line color instead (gold, teal, alert, ...). History keeps the last 20 lines across copyover and restart (still a short ring, not a forever log). While the Veil is stitching (game restart or a short freeze), the gateway may relay OOC for logged-in players using your account or character label from before the drop. Tune the colors with: config channel ooc <role> | config channel say <role> | config channel emote <role> | config channel tell <role> | config channel questions <role> Room say lines use the say role; emote and smote use emote; tell and reply use tell; Questions still uses layered ((QUESTIONS)) chrome (crimson parentheses, gold letters) unless you set a whole-line role. Staff may also mirror live OOC lines to the Discord #ooc channel when that bridge is configured (history replay does not re-post). Link your account with account discord link, then in Discord post !link YOUR-CODE (or /link) in #ooc — linked players can chat both ways. Ignore an account on OOC only (not in-character speech): mute <account|character> | unmute | mutes For how-do-I-play questions, prefer questions (help questions) so OOC stays social.
