How you play 1. Read help groceries for the verb card 2. This page is extra detail for that loop How you play -- more groceries -- home fridge stock and kitchen meals Buy 'a bag of groceries' at the Grocery Store (about 20% less than buying single meals for a two-day house stock). At your claimed house or apartment, 'stock' or 'put groceries in fridge' fills the refrigerator for about 48 game-hours. In a rented hotel room the same bag only lasts about 24 game-hours (mini-fridge spoils fast -- hotel living burns dollars). Restocking resets the window (fresh bag, leftovers spoil). While stocked: look in fridge / look in refrigerator -- hours left eat / eat from fridge / eat leftovers -- free kitchen meal (own home or leased hotel room; clears hunger and thirst -- groceries are food and drink) DoorDash (remote stock): doordash / order -- pay list + ~20% delivery and stock your home fridge without carrying a bag, or get a burger + water at an on-shift desk (see 'help doordash'). Cadence orders when CRITICAL, homebody/lazy, or the store path is blocked. Vampires: food stock will not feed you. Buy blood groceries at the Rat's Nest and stock a separate blood pantry (help blood groceries). Hotel housekeeping empties the mini-fridge when a lease ends or a new guest rents the room. Soft-claim house changes keep stock on the fridge. Cadence: homebodies eat and drink at home unless social need is critical; high entertainment/social often means dining out for hunger instead (thirst still uses the fridge when stocked). Baking (separate from fridge meals): buy flour / sugar / butter / eggs / yeast / chocolate chips / cinnamon / cocoa / powdered sugar / maple syrup / milk at the Grocery Store, remodel a kitchen, then bake bread or a long list of sweets -- cinnamon rolls, pies, fudge, donuts, brownies, and more (help cooking). Plated dinners and recipe dishes stay at the diner or your kitchen -- the grocery is not a steam-table.
