motd -- Message of the Day The login board. After you look, staff news lands as a [MOTD] board -- where the world stands, what just got unstuck. Type motd anytime to read it again. How you play 1. Log in and look -- the board prints with your other login notes 2. motd -- reprint the current board (or hear that staff silenced it) What it does Reprint costs 0 Spirit and does not spend a combat tick. Copyover does not reprint it; log in fresh to see it again. Separate from changes ([NEWS] ships), tips, and the connect splash Status line. Staff (gm on): gm motd edit opens a paste editor (blank lines stay; a lone . saves; cancel backs out). gm motd <text> is still a one-line override. gm motd default restores the house board; gm motd clear silences it.
