inventory -- what you carry in your hands (open stacks) How you play inventory -- list loose carried items (aliases: inv, i). eq -- wielded gear, clothing, and bags on back/shoulder. gear -- job kit bag for reagents (help gear). backpacks -- 100-slot loot bags for everything else (help backpacks). stash / retrieve at your claimed home (help stash) How you play give <item> to <name> -- hand loose gear or reagents to someone here. hand <item> to <name> -- same as give. Open inventory holds **twenty stacks** of loose items in your hands. Identical ammo, potions, and other matching piles count as **one** stack. When your hands are full, **get** / **get all** tucks overflow into a worn **backpack** (help backpacks) if you have one. Use **put** / **get** with **backpack** to move items in and out by hand. Kit reagents auto-stow into the **gear bag** first (help gear). Worn armor, weapons, and slung bags live on **eq** instead. Fish, ore, and other haul goods also add **weight**. inventory shows that burden next to the stack count. Kit crumbs without listed weight do not count. Stronger characters carry more; drop, fillet, or stash when the next catch is too heavy. Identical items stack on one line (4x a pinch of cold ash). You cannot drop, sell, give, or gear-stow something that is still on your body. See also: help gear | help backpacks | help stash | help equip
