id -- government identity cards
Human characters receive a real US state (or DC) ID, leather pocket wallet, and flip phone at chargen. Pick your home state at create (skip = Kansas). Human immersion cast (Dean, Sam, …) backfill the same kit on boot and when cast is ensured. The ID lives in the wallet; the phone stays in inventory. Spirits never get paperwork.
How you play
1. wallet -- cash and pocket papers (help wallet)
2. showid [target] -- flash your ID to someone in the room
3. At chargen, pick home state (or skip for Kansas), then the street
address you had when you registered
4. register at the courthouse clerk if you lack an ID
5. replaceid at the clerk ($25) -- new number and photo portrait
6. showid stolen at the clerk -- invalidate a stolen number
(also: reportstolen)
7. setshort -- customize your anonymous room face (separate from ID photo
until you replaceid)
Your card shows a photo portrait (the anonymous room face strangers see before introduce), your registration home address, and your ID number. After you introduce yourself, other players read your name beside that photo when you showid. Examine your license or type wallet for the full card.
Vessel husks may carry wallet IDs; riding spirits do not inherit them.
